Wally's Memorable Day

It was a beautiful fall evening in Greendale, WI. The sun was setting over Scout Lake, and the sky was ablaze with color. Wally Bear, a black and white St. Bernardoodle, was walking around the lake with his owner, Jason. Wally loved to go for walks, and he especially loved being around water.

Scout Lake was a small, calm lake surrounded by trees. The water was a deep blue, and it reflected the colors of the sunset perfectly. There were a few other people walking around the lake, but it was mostly deserted. The only sounds were the birds chirping and the cars driving on Loomis Road.

Wally and Jason had been walking for about a 20 minutes and they were both enjoying the peace and quiet. Wally was sniffing around the ground, looking for interesting smells, and Jason was enjoying the view.

As they walked, they came to a bench overlooking the lake. Jason sat down on the bench, and Wally sat down at his feet. They both closed their eyes and enjoyed the beauty of the sunset.

After a while, Jason opened his eyes and looked at Wally. "This is nice, isn't it?" he said.

Wally wagged his tail. "Woof," he said.

Jason smiled. "I'm glad you're enjoying yourself," he said. "I know I am."

They sat in silence for a few more minutes, enjoying the sunset. Then, Jason reached into his pocket and pulled out a flashlight. He turned it on, and Wally's ears perked up.

"Wanna play?" Jason asked.

Wally barked and jumped up. He loved to chase after the flashlight. Jason turned the flashlight on and off, and Wally chased after it, barking and wagging his tail. They played for a while, and Wally had a lot of fun.

After a while, Jason turned off the flashlight. "That was fun," he said. "Let's go home."

Wally reluctantly got up and followed Jason back to the car. As they drove away, Wally looked back at the lake. He would never forget this beautiful evening.

Wally and Jason went back to Scout Lake many times after that. They always enjoyed their walks around the lake, and they always made sure to play with the flashlight. It was a special place for them, and they would always cherish their memories of it.
